The question on everyone’s mind is “When are we returning to the office?” The honest answer is “we don’t know.” There has been some progress ~ on July 6th, 2021, the Senior Leadership Team began a hybrid work schedule composed of three days in the office, two days of remote work. We have now adjusted that schedule to one day in the office in response to the recent spike in cases and variants of the COVID virus. For our other team members, we continue to be committed both to your mental and physical welfare and will not rush in making a decision on a return date.
One thing we have learned is that the traditional, pre-COVID work schedules will require change. Remote and “hybrid” work environments will be a permanent part of our company culture in the future.
In the interim, for all of those who are currently reporting to a live office environment, we will continue to follow established protocols and practices to guard your health and safety and to ensure that you and your family feel safe while keeping our workplace open for business. That includes self-assessment, adherence to mask mandates in high-traffic areas, social distancing when needed and the responsibility of keeping your personal work station clean including disinfectant.
If you do wish to return to the office, please reach out to your supervisor and Human Resources for an assessment and tutorial on the protocols we have in place. The health and safety of our employees and their families is our primary goal, and NPH wants to make sure that you understand your part in helping to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
